Andrew Haulage 2011 Ltd is a medium sized civil construction company which recognises constant change in the sector. Colin Calteaux, who managed the business for 10 years, purchased Andrew Haulage alongside his wife Lynne in 2011.
Andrew Haulage’s main office and workshop is based in Balclutha, South Otago, the company has been operating for over 60 years in the lower South Island gaining considerable knowledge of the local environment and its conditions.
Andrew Haulage 2011 Ltd scope of work consists of earthmoving, drainage, watermain upgrades, roading, supplying and placing concrete, bridge maintenance, forestry roading, chipping, supplying aggregate from our quarries and yard, sub divisions and farm works including effluent ponds, dairy lanes, construction of wintering sheds and general maintenance.
Colin's team of staff is essential to the company's success. Their collective skills and commitment to every job are what set them apart. Colin’s high standards are reflected throughout the team, and a high level of work is consistently expected and delivered. The company currently employs 43 staff members, along with several contractors.
Andrew Haulage operates under the Andrew Haulage Management System, has achieved AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 certification, and is currently making the transition to ISO 9001:2015.

Andrew Haulage is a family owned and operated Civil and earthmoving contracting company. The company has a low turn over of staff with a stride for quality in all aspects of the business.
Colin and the team are continuously training up existing team members and taking on young workers to give back to the construction industry.
